I have been working on a flash site now for a while and I have decided to do this using imported .swf but having a main scene with the appropriate buttons to load my various .swfs. My problem comes when I try to add interactivity with my buttons. Now, I know how to define a clickable area with a button, but since my buttons are actually movie clips (I did this to make the effect of a roll over more dynamic) I am having a hard time figuring out how to make a movie clip behave like a button. Do I convert the mc to a button and just add in the appropriate syntax or is there a different way of handling this?
