# Delayed action

:moustache i have 4 buttons in a flash document, when one button is clicked, it plays a short section of timeline in the same scene, before moving to another scene, depending on what button was clicked.

That is what SHOULD happen…

does anybody know how i go about this?

i think it should be along the lines of:  
a variable is set when the button is clicked… maybe “portfoliopage” is set to true. Then at the end of the desired animation if"portfoliopage"=true {goto"other scene"}

i havent the nouse to get it right an i have bin thru the help a number of times, maybe its too late an i am missing somethin?

any ideas?
