Here is a concept for a poetry site that i am currently working on. The poetry is quite dark and talks about abuse, death etc etc so the layout was to resemble that but in a taseful way.

I went with a clean and simple layout that would use photography to and audio to help set the scene and mood for the poetry. The menu was done with a slideshow kind of style.

The poetry will appear in a popup window kind of thing and that is why there is no writing on the main screen. I would just like to get some feedback on the interface before going any further.
