# Deskstop icon/start menu button disappeared in xp

pls. can anybody tell me what’s wrong with my windows xp?  
My start menu button and all its deskstop icons disappear when i start my windows. I tried rebooting several times but same things happens.

Is there a way how can I make them appear again?

help out this poor guy plz!!!
