# Desktop with Music + Ipod + laptop

I just got a laptop and I use it for the wireless in university (which is hilariously fast: 400kb/s off a normal http server). Since I download a lot of stuff on my computer, including music (but not the topic of this post), I’m thinking of moving my media onto my laptop.

BUT I listen to the music at home on my desktop with good speakers. And I want to download media with my laptop at school because it’s fast. What do I do? I have an ipod that could be the medium between the two computers, but how would that work?
