I desperately need to figure out a way of doing this.

I need to be able to write external files from a standalone Flash (MX 2004) application.

I can’t seem to find ANY instructions ANYWHERE on how to do this? ![](http://www.flashkit.com/board/images/smilies/frown.gif)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
