One of the things I’ve been really curious about is how [Pandora](http://www.pandora.com) detects when your computer has been inactive for a certain period of time, without even being an active window. I can have it running the background for hours but the moment I walk away from my computer for a half an hour, the music stops. Am I just imagining things or is there a way to do this?
