# Detecting mouse interaction on Stage?

hi, i’ve been having difficulty detecting a click on the Stage.  
i’d like to create something similar to [www.bbdo.com](http://www.bbdo.com), when the user clicks on anything that’s not a movieclip it zooms out.

i’ve been playing around with event listeners and such but nothing seems to be working. any suggestions? thank you in advance.
