# Diference between an relative adress and one absolut

Hello, i need to know how i made a relative URL in flash mx. Cos in my computer works but when i try to open the links in other comptuers is not found…

If you’re on _thisPost_ trying to link to **fourms** , then an Absolute link would be:  
_[http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/](http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/)_

A relavive link would be written as _…/…/forums_ because your moving 2 steps up. The absolute link doesn’t care where you’re coming from, it’s always the _whole_ address.
