# Disabling buttons

Hello everyone,

I have my buttons on the left part of my flash page.Id like to disable the button that loaded the mc kinda:Home button disabled when home mc is loaded.I tried the tutorial on [www.gotoandlearn.com](http://www.gotoandlearn.com) but it didn’t work on every button.I thought maybe i would have to use some script like if else,but i am not that expert to know above this point.  
My buttons are animated mcs and i am using only external mcs not long timelimes on the main scene.  
Can anyone give some light?
