# Distortation

I’m working on a movie that loads jpegs from an XML file but they are distorting and “auto-smoothed”. I’ve discovered part of the problem but stumped on the rest.
First take a look at the two attached movies. Same content, same settings, same everything (I think) except one movie is a single frame and the other is two frames long. One is blurred/smoothed and the other is not. Did I overlook something obvious or is this a bug?
I hear the raves about the MX feature of dynamically loading jpegs but I mine only distort. Is it normal for jpegs to distort a pixel or two when using the loadMovie function? It looks awful.
I would really appreciate anyone who can shed some light on this. Thanks.
