# DIV/Layer Stay In Place?

hello everyone… 🙂 hope you’re all ok.

question:  
you know the floating “layers” that are actually \<div\>'s ?

**How on earth do you make those things STAY in place**  
even if you resize the window ?

i have a flash animation below it that serves as a background for  
the DIV in its design and if the div moves a single pixel, it doesn’t  
match the background.

i have a 1280x1024 resolution, but people with 1024x768(etc) won’t  
see what I see. I don’t even see what’s supposed to see if I don’t  
have the IE window Maximized!

Help?
