# Div to stretch to bottom

Hi I’m using 2 column fixed, left sidebar, header and footer from the DW templates. How to I get the left sidebar to stretch down to my footer rather then reduce in size when I delete the text within the div?

Also, how would I add a shadow border left and right of the container? Thanks
