# Does using xml help searchability by search engines?

I’ve spend days researching this very issue.

How to get a flashed site to be search-friendly with the famous search engine spiders like google, yahoo and the rest.

I somehow thought that perhaps using external xml text would help, but havent found any support for this notion.

Regular external text?

I don’t know… any ideas?

Currently, I have used the ol’ meta tags, submitting to google and a link placed in the index page pointing to an html page with site content copy (refresh to the main flashed site). Worked a bit… to diminished returns.

Any ideas? Does xml help?
