My domain ([nokrev.com](http://nokrev.com)) expires today, from it’s current registrar, [mydomain.com](http://mydomain.com). I intend to transfer it to my host, who I get a free domain from (with my hosting), today, but was looking for some tips to prevent being charged a fortune, and to prevent downtime.

Anybody know about how to do this properly, and any of the rules?
