[LEFT] How do you download a file from a secure directory in php? I send from flash to php with……

1 file path and name of file  
2 username and password for secure directory

flash is not the problem cant get my php to access the directory. Also is this safe? A good way to manage downloads. Running out of hair to pull out with this problem.
