# Downloading external links from Flash MX 2004

I’ve been trying to figure this out for the last 3 hours and for some reason can not. It seems so basic. I have a flash file with a button that I want the enduser who presses it to be able to download an external pdf to their desktop. That’s it. Anybody have a simple way of doing this?
