# Drag and Drop Movieclip reordering

I need pointed in the right direction, because I don’t know what to call what I’m doing. :puzzled: Here’s what I’m trying to do:

I need to build a Flash app that has a “bin” of symbols (graphics) that I can take out individually and drop onto a workspace. I need what I drop to snap into a line. When I have multiple items on the line, I want to be able to drag and reorder the symbols on that line.

Is there a tutorial or example out there of what I’m talking about so I can get an idea of how to get started? If I need to explain further or answer questions, that’s not a problem.
