Hi. I’ve been working with this tutorial: [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/dragdrop.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/dragdrop.htm) - and it works a treat, so thanks! My problem tho is that I want to make this entire drag and drop as a movie clip so I can place it in my main timeline. When I do this, it doesn’t work - and I know it’s because of the “\_root” - I just don’t know how to fix it.

I’ve got the brush working in that it can be dragged and dropped, by using “\_parent” instead of “\_root” but it doesn’t make the computer change colour.

I’ve been pulling my hair out over this for hours now so some help would really be appreciated!! :wt:

Thanks!
