Dunno if this has been posted (search turned up nothing) or if anyone really cares but there have been rumours of this for a while and I always cringed at the idea but recently its been comfirmed.

> It looks like 20th Century Fox is rushing the long-awaited live-action movie adaptation of Dragon Ball Z into production before the looming industry strikes happen next year.

I can’t find a more recent link but today I read on one of the news monitors in the elevators at my work that Stephen Chow (Shaolin Soccer, Kung Fu Hustle, etc, etc) would be producing it. This made the notion of a DBZ movie quite a bit less nausiating.
