Drawing in Painter

Hi there:

I’m working on Painter 7.0. I set up several layers. But I found I can’t save it as .psd. What a pity! Can I save with layers and open it in Photoshop?

I don’t think Photoshop layers and Painter layers work the same way.

why cant you save as a PSD? Ive never had any problems. Painter layers work almsot exactly like the photoshop ones and i save to PSD all the time.

when I finish drawing, I found there is no option to allow me to save is as .psd. It’s really werid. Do I need to reinstall it? The version I got from the package of VACOM tablet.

oh. humm aare you SURE its painter 7 or is it painter classic. im not sure if painter classic can export as PSD

I checked my Painter. You are right. It’s painter classic. So that means I can’t save as PSD? I can choose RIFF to keep layers. But it doesn’t work for Photoshop. My question is does Painter 7.0 works for VACAM tablet since I got Classic from the package of tablet. By the way, your icon is so cute.

Yes painter 7 works amazingly for Wacom Tablet.
