# Drawing pad - cross platform data

I want to create a drawing application that saved the drawings as data rather than a saved jpeg. I’m also thinking that the data should be able to be read by different platforms if necessary for future development. The drawings would be very simple line drawings - even just one colour - maybe just different thickness lines.

Is this possible? Can anyone point me in the right direction.
