# Dual Screens (17") or Single Big Screen (20.1")?

Dual screens (17") or a single big screen (20.1"),

Which do you/would you prefer and why?

Personally I’m slightly leaning towards the single big option.

Dual 17"

[_][COLOR=“SeaGreen”]PRO:[/COLOR] Ability to run 1 app fullscreen on one screen and have something/some other things on the other (eg. IM program)  
[_][COLOR=“SeaGreen”]PRO:[/COLOR] Bigger total screen area  
[_][COLOR=“DarkRed”]CON:[/COLOR] When running fullscreen on one screen, you can’t control other screen. I believe changing the resolution on one screen would change the other too, so you may not be able to properly view whatever you put there  
[_][COLOR=“DarkRed”]CON:[/COLOR] Cannot watch videos across both screens  
[_][COLOR=“DarkRed”]CON:[/COLOR] Monitor border (casing) in between screens  
[_][COLOR=“DarkRed”]CON:[/COLOR] When using one monitor alone, monitor is not centered to desk setup (more of a personal preference)

Single 20.1"

[_][COLOR=“SeaGreen”]PRO:[/COLOR] Ability to run apps (primarily games) fullscreen across total screen area  
[_][COLOR=“DarkRed”]CON:[/COLOR] smaller net screen area  
[_][COLOR=“DarkRed”]CON:[/COLOR] lack of ability to run 1 app fullscreen and still have screen space available for other programs (eg. IM program)
