# Duplicate movieclips with external x,y coordinates

Hello everyone,

I am new to kirupa, and this is my first post.

I want to duplicate a movieclip - then give each of the copies their own x-y coordinates and their own actions ( get url, load movie… ). This all i want to handle outside flash in a text or xml document, maybe one could show me the way. I looked in the different forums but couldn´t find an answer. I have attached an xml document that contains the information that I want loaded into each duplicated movieclip.

Please help me!! What I am working on is a map where the user can add pushpins.
