# Duplicating ANYTHING is a pain in the butt

Argh, this is more like a rant with a possible hope that someone can post a solution. I duplicate an MC in the library, it has a button in it, within that button is text and all that jazz… the stupid thing is it just creates instances of the same ■■■■ thing, doesn’t actually copy it. 🅰 So whenever I edit the text it edits on the original too… ARGH! I don’t want to have to recreate an MC everytime I need it!!!
