# DW Extensions not working....and

Greetings, ( using Dreamweaver 4 )
None of my behaviors work, and also according to the help
file: “launch the Extension Manager directly from Dreamweaver by choosing Manage Extensions from the Commands menu.”
Well, it’s not there. I did install it. ( Version 1.2.027 )
I never remember launching it from within DW, and have usually launched it seperately, and installed behaviors that way, however, I don’t ever remember ever using any of them or that any of them actually worked.
SO: Do extensions/behaviors need to be in a specific directory?
If so where?
And is the process to copy them to that specific directory and then use the extension manager to install them?
I’m guessing possibly that something is just wacked here and that a clean install of DW and then the extension manager might be in order, however I thought someone might have some insights to share that I might benifit from.

I am poking in the dark completle here…
But can some of the extesnions you install require DW MX?

Thanks for the thought.
I made that mistake a while back but since then I’ve made a point of only using ones that are designated for version 4.0.
