# DW pop up menu and PHP

I have a Pop-up menu created in Dream Weaver, which generates the external mm\_menu.js file. For each item in the menu I have an indented Item.  
Is there way to pass on a URL varible through these menus ?

What I want to accomplish is. Depending what Item is selected in the menu will determine what content is dynamicly loaded on the linked page.

I am using PHP/MySQL server model.

Any help would be appreciated.
