I could have sworn that I saw a tutorial for a dynamic drop down menu, which was not sen’s xml one… maybe I am halucinating… anyway, I did search, but if you can find it before I do, you can laugh at me, in public… what I am looking to do, is have a horizontal nav bar across the top of the stage, then have a couple of drop downs from there, and then have it all be able to be changed via an external text file. If I have to, I will see if I can modify sen’s tut to make it work, but I am in a bit of a pinch for time, and learning a bit of xml right now may be too time consuming… Thanks in advance for anyone who helps… Rev ![](http://aulman.com/rev.gif) ---

have you checked flashkit and ultrashock? i thought i saw one at either of those two. i will look inteh morning when i have more time for you. ---

Would you mind using an XML file? It will be loads easier for updating, and all you will have to mess with is the XML file (which after you see how it is set up you should automatically know how to add/remove/edit content in the file) [edit]im getting an unexpected file format error (im on MX)[/edit] ---

ROFL… what the heck! I go to open the .fla file and Flash closes on me… every time… and only for that .fla file. If you need to you can send me that names of the nav items and the sub items they will contain… ---
