# Dynamic text and HTML formatting problems

The text shown is coming from an external text file. Its working fine thanks to other help from this forum.

I want to format it a bit. Making the dates a different color perhaps, adding links, etc.

I have the “render as HTML” option selected for my text box, but when I add HTML to my text file… it just shows the code and all right in the text box. If I add \<b\>date here\</b\>… “\<b\>date here\</b\>” will show in my text box, heh.

I also tried adding all the HTML tags: \<html\>\</html\>, \<body\>\</body\>, etc. and it still wont work.

What can I do? Thanks!
