# Dynamic text in flash

hey what’s up?

i’m building a flash site for a band that will need to update their own NEWS and SHOWS sections.

i’m using Kirupa’s version of the import outside text into flash… that works nice but how can i control the look of the text once it’s imported in?

i figure it’s dynamic and can’t be stylized, but for some reason i think that if you click the render as HTML button on your text you should be able to put simple tags like

```auto
<B> <I> <BR>

```

or even maybe put an image in using

```auto
<img src=URL>

```

- but for some reason i can’t seem to get it working…

is it just plain impossible?
