# Dynamic Text Mask Tutorial

I went through this tutorial on masking dynamic text: [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/maskfonts.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/maskfonts.htm) . It didn’t work out. I named my text “text” and my mask “mask.” The text that reads “outside” should not be shown in the SWF, while the text that reads “inside” should be visible. My source file is attached.
