Hi 🙂 , Im a newbie to flash but I am a programmer to the core so thank god I can follow actionscript. But i still cant draw for nuts :bounce: .

Anyway , I am trying to make somewhat of a dynamic image loader using the loader component. I have managed to make it without any problem. What I would like to do however is to resize the Loader component depending on the dimensions of the new image that is loaded.

In short ,

-\> I need to retrieve the dimensions of the external image dynamically.
-\> Use the dimensions retrieved to resize the loader.
-\> Have the loader dimensions be equal to the image dimensions.

I’m sure you flash gurus can help me , so fire away.

Thanks & Regards

Sameer 👼
