# Easing DropdownMenu problem

Hi I am new to Kirupa so hello everyone who reads this ^^. I am trying to find out some resource of some kind on making a dropdown menu that will open up when my mouse hovers over it and will close when my mouse hovers off it (both actions will need easing) so when the mouse activates the menu it will be brought out gradually fading in and when the mouse deactivates it it will gradually fade out as it moves back in.  
Can anyone help send me a link or something to find an example of a working one?  
Or some code perhaps?
