Howdy. I would greatly appreciate your help in finding these things for a site revamp I’m doing. I have already searched google and tutorials so please don’t jsut say try google. 10 points for each example you find me. [COLOR=gray]1.) Images of Vintage Paper or a tutorial on how to create that style. I’m not looking for a torn edges kind of style, but the texture of the paper itself. Image 1920’s newsprint or kind of wrinkled.[/COLOR] [COLOR=gray]2.) A vintage photo album page. I’m not sure what it’s called but imagine a page that has one place in the middle to attatch a photo. You slip the photo in and then two diagnol strips ribbon at opposite corners hold the photo in.[/COLOR] [COLOR=Magenta]**3.) THIS IS WHAT I NEED TO FIGURE OUT [http://www.intentionallies.co.jp/content\_normal.html](http://www.intentionallies.co.jp/content_normal.html)**[/COLOR] [COLOR=gray]4.) AS examples of how to watch the X and Y position of a movie clip. So if you click a movie clip it prints the x and y value of it.[/COLOR] [COLOR=gray]5.) AS or tutorial on how to create the masking effect over text to make it look like it is being erased, and or written. trace… dangit… I was thinking it was print and couldn’t remember wha the heck it was… Trace… Thanks Mate. BP it looks like that Tut is for masking the text. Any idea how to acheive that effect of the letters being written out. Like someone is writing the words? \*\*Edit 15 points to you. Only half right on #5. 😉 ---

ooh oooh pick me pick me!!! #5 - there’s this really good example of this effect on flashkit… it’s a very hardcore version (can you have hardcore text effects!!!) in that he’s taken it to extremes and made about 5 million frames, but the concept is the same. [http://www.flashkit.com/tutorials/Animation/eScribe\_-Bryan\_Hu-575/index.php](http://www.flashkit.com/tutorials/Animation/eScribe_-Bryan_Hu-575/index.php) the other option is to have the text and then use a mask layer and gradually REVEAL sections, instead of covering it up in reverse like that example does… the advantage of this would be that if your background wasn’t a plain colour, their version wouldn’t work (as you couldn’t really block out the text with a plain colour… did i explain it ok?) anyway, if you need more details on the masking version… hope it helps 🙂 Stu ---

so… what can i trade my points in for? also, i found this thread which talks about someone doing a vintage/classy project, and if you read through there are some links to examples and maybe tutorials i think, so that could help with #1 maybe.
