# Ecards, Special Character "&" and replacing it?

Hi fellow Kirupians,  
this might be simple, yet I have almost no hair left after pulling  
them all ;).

I am working with a tutorial they have on ecards here:

It all works super great, except one itzzy thing.  
I just recieved one of the cards with the symbol “&” used as  
“and”. And I discovered that flash cuts off the text before  
this letter.

I know that “&” declares a new text field if I use it with a  
dynamic text and html on in flash. So I guess my questions is:  
How can I replace “&” in input text fields when this data is stored?  
Is that even possible?

Any advice will help, as I do not even know where to start  
looking for an answer! :cyclops: Thanks in advance.
