# Editing in Flash 8

Has anyone noticed an extreme sluggishness when editing an FLA file? For some reason the machine i’m on here at work seems to ‘hang’ for a couple of seconds when typing in text, or clicking a text box, changing movieclips etc.

Wondering if it might have something to do with the hardware, possibly the gfx card and/or cpu. I’ve been unable to find anything on google relating to this, the funny thing is the CPU usage doesn’t go up that high (only to around 40-45%).

EDIT: Holding down the LMB while editing also brings CPU usage up to 100%, wtf is with that?
