# Editing Size of stage (advanced question)

Now you might think from the topic that I’m going to ask you how to actually change the size of the stage, I know very well how to do that.

My problem is, when I edit the size of the stage, it adds the extra space to the bottom, and not the top. I need to increase the size of the stage so it adds the extra space to the top.

Now, I haven’t lost my mind. The reason why I need to add it to the top is that I want to add a component to the top of a project which is very large (1000+ symbols) across hundreds of frames. I can’t use “Edit Multiple Frames” to move everything down because that crashes my PC (simply due to the number of symbols I move).

What an incredibly challenging yet incredibly simple problem.
