# Editing the Random Circles Effect

Thank you for the most wonderfully helpful site ([kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com)) from which i have learnt much 🙂

I am very attracted to the “random circles” effect, and i would like to use this in my home page.

I have downloaded the .fla from kirupalabs and extracted the action script as well as the circles themselves and implanted them into my flash movie.

My question is this:

How do i created my own little circles, and then use them in the movie?

I am creating a circle, converting to Movie Clip and then using the Alpha Color to fade to about 30-50%.

However, this does not move with the other little circles ☹

I know i must be doing something wrong, because the other circle MCs have “instance of s2” or “s3” etc.

I would be very much indebted if someone were kind enough to enlighten me!
