Hi I have seen this animation trick a couple of times now… what it is, is a box - usually just an outline that expands form a small box to a large one. When it gets to its full size it retracts and then expands like its elasticated. Know what I mean? How is this done? There must be some script for it right? Can you help? Thanks ---

have a look at this: [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/spring.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/spring.htm) instead of it applying to corrdinates, have it apply dimensions of the box. ---

okay… …but how exactly would I apply it to the dimensions of the box? Do I make the box a movie clip or what? Cheers Craig ---

What about the kind of elasticity where the corners kind of snap into place and the edges wobble until it becomes a box? Kind of a “boooooing” thing…in case boing really describes it for ya lol. ---

Wicked, thanks David the link was exactly what I meant. I’ve had a quick look at the code you posted, thats pretty cool man. Its not exactly the elastic box which was in the link, but perhaps a few adjustments will fix this? Cheers ---
