# Embed font just doesn't work!

Hi guys,
I got a True Type font off the internet and I put it into WINNT/fonts. I’ve got a dynamic text box in my flash movie, I selected this new font and chose “embed all characters” in the characters button.
Now, I publish the moivie and the text appears in what looks like an arial font. Not the font I selected.
Also, in the text field properties, when I scroll through the list of available fonts, they show a preview of what the font looks like on the right. The new font I installed is previewing like a normal arial font! I know it doesn’t look like this because I tried it in photoshop.
What the heck is going on? Please help me 🙂

I’ve had prblems with fonts that I’ve gotten off the internet before that say they’re true type, but don’t work in all aplications. One that I have that’s really strange is called Agent Orange. It works great in PhotoShop; it will preview in Flash, but won’t work in finished movies; and it won’t even preview in WORD. So I have just written it off as a font I can’t use and found a different one that was close that does work.
