# Embed font?

hi all,  
can someone explain me the concept of embeding font?

what is an embed font? :huh:  
why embed your fonts?  
what circumstance brings you to ‘embed’ your fonts?

i’ve already red, i think, most of these topics. all i can see that _may_ give an idea of what Embed font is on the first link:

“For larger pieces of text, it is recommended that you Embed the text instead of breaking it apart.”

and that’s it.

it does not tell me what Embed is neither in what it consist, etc. But maybe you have a more specific link?
