# Embedded sound overlapping

I set up a radio page, when a logo (button inside a movieclip) is pressed it jumps to a root frame where a movie clip plays an embedded mp3.

the mp3 movie clip has 2 frames, one to start the sound clip (sync = start) and a stop button jumps to frame 2 to stop the sound (sync = stop)

not the most glamorous way to make a player, but it works.

the problem is here: on the last logo after clicking to the second screen of logos (sonju all-american super store) it jumps to root frame 8, frame 8 ONLY has the button for that particular sound/commercial, yet it plays EVERY sound.

for the life of me, I can’t stop all the sounds from playing, I’ve quadruple checked the movie clip and any hidden movie clips on that layer, but nothing I know to check can stop it.

Any ideas?

I’m using AS2.
