# Embedding fonts

Can someone please clarify for me how handling font enbedding works in Flash 8? Has it changed?

I’ve had a couple of issues with this and I feel like a retard for not knowing.

To clarify, this is using static text fields. Aren’t they always supposed to embed the character outlines? If so, why are people not seeing my static text in the swf?
