# Embedding video

i’m having problems with embedding a video into my flash file. the visual is fine, but how do i get the audio to play?

the video is .mov file right bow.

i’m pretty sure flash doesn’t import the audio along with the video in .mov files. there should be a small warning alerting you to this during the import process.

can you export the audio separately from your compiler and then import that into flash? you can then synch them up in flash.

yeah, i don’t know what the reasoning behind it is, but…you shouldn’t have any problems. i remember running into it myself.

so oddly enough, i was able to simply embed the quicktime movie file into flash mx file and everything works. the sound was in sync with visual.
