Hello Everybody,
I think this problem was solved many times but I still want to ask Your help.
I installed Apache on my WinXP and PHP (5 version) using [this](http://www.kirupa.com/web/apache_php.htm) tutorial.Ⓜ
Enabled AllowOverride mode to All and I was trying to simulate wrong connection to get 404 error (for example [http://localhost/asdfdasfasdf](http://localhost/asdfdasfasdf)) and it doesn’t reacts to my CustomError .htaccess file (I used [this](http://www.kirupa.com/web/htaccess.htm) tutorial to create .htaccess file) to redirect it.
Is there possible that .htaccess mode doesn’t work on localhost?
Could You suggest any solutions for it because I didn’t find any right solution for me?

Thank You!
