Energizer has announced a new line of lithium coin batteries it claims are the world’s first to eliminate the risk of ingestion burns if swallowed.

Yo if this is real that’s huge — those coin battery horror stories are legit nightmare fuel, especially with toddlers around. still wild that we’re at “safer to swallow” as a product feature, but I’ll take the win.
