# Error in Actionscript trying to do the dropdown menu tutorial

Hi guys

I’m trying to do the dropdown menu kirupa tutorial in Flash Mx 2004 and get this error in Actionscript:

**Error** Symbol=Menu, layer=Buttons, frame=1:Line 1: Mouse events are permitted only for button instances  
on (rollOver) {

Total ActionScript Errors: 1 Reported Errors: 1
