I was contacted by a small company who sell jewellery and they want to sell some of their products online. I told them I’d never done anything like this before and said I would investigate. So here I am. The only thing I could think of was paypal - but I dont know really - i’m a bit lost as to what exactly to do. Any advice? Thank you. ---

yes, and its easy to implement a shopping cart. Though I don’t do it as much anymore, [http://www.toyboxer.com](http://www.toyboxer.com) Paypal has a button maker, basically a form they can fill out that generates the code they can slap into their website. Its free too. If you take the time and know how to tie it to a database it would be the cheapest way to go. ---

Is it very complicated to tie it to a database? Any tutorials out there or can we bug you for one Gary? :beam: ---

paypal dont mention anything about databases on the bit i read at their site. I thought it was generated automatically? ---

Nope I don’t know how to tie a database to it but I have some friends who do and have for a few of their customers already. There is a developer section on paypal that gives you all the how-to information. You may have to be a member to see it though? But if you rather just have it make the ‘Add to Cart’ code for you and edit html its pretty easy to do that part. And they can just take the product off manually when they sell out. Thats how I did it for several years before I decided to close shop. ---
