please answer the following question truthfully: did you tell him and us that you ripped the site before or AFTER he wrote that letter to you? šŸ˜› Try to understand him. I wouldnā€™t really react different if someone ripped my page Well, I believe you are abled to do a page that is better than the the actual (rip) šŸ˜‰ come on give it a try. from your footer I guess you are good with photoshop. so how about doing a ps-flash site with focus on ps. Or try some experimental design. ---

he redid a site he saw, just for fun, it looked good, so he took the ripped site as his homepage, felt sorry for it, mailed the owner of the original he is sorry, posted here that he is sorry, recieved a very evil e-mail from the owner, is planning to create a new page, ---

Bad bad Blastboy I may have to ban you from DesignLegion for that. šŸ˜› J/K Blast, we all see cool designs a weaken but I just open my web designerā€™s bible and read the commandment ā€œThou shall not Ripā€ and it comforts me. šŸ˜› Personally I could never rip. After I plug it or show it to people it just doesnā€™t have the same effect when someone says ā€œHey you really did a good job on thatā€, when you make it yourself you have some sort of satisfaction that the user has commented on a design you worked hard on and thought, design, and color schemed yourself. It just has some sort of fame when someone like a design you made vs one you stole, in my opinion. Sorry to hear you ripped. ā˜¹ Hope you donā€™t do it again, it only leads to ripping more and just losing all your design skills over stealing from others. Just hope you get through the ripping stage, -datapimp ---

BlastBoy, Mate, there are lots of rippers out there. You for one, arenā€™t. The good thing you did was coming clean. Now if you hadnā€™t done that, I would post it in the copycatz forum at Ultrashockā€¦ So, you should get over the fact that you ripped it. Seriously, there are tons and tons of us who ripped other sites, usually without knowing it, sometimes knowing it. I remember when 247media made a site that looked similar to [widegroup.net](http://widegroup.net). There was lots of controversy but he owned up and they replied in the same way. Heā€™s not crying over it. Heā€™s still making kick @\*\* designs that rock. Heā€™s still the same guy. I had a conversation with the president of [teknision.com](http://teknision.com) and he said that the best way to get rid of a designers block is to remake somebody elseā€™s site. Unless until you have used a decompiler. I used to use a decompiler to understand flashlevelā€™s creation a whole lot more. Then, when I started using it as a weapon to rip sites rather than using it as a learning tool, I uninstalled it. You need to get over it. Seriously, you really need to design a site of your own. I recommend using PS and make something original of your own. Actually, youā€™ll notice no matter what you make it has actually ripped a part of another site. You canā€™t really do anything about that. You will always see something like that. Judging by your PS skills, you should check out 247mediaā€™s website for some inspiration as those guys are some really hardcore PSā€™ers too. Just forget about the rip thing. Itā€™ll keep on bugging you. BTW, while weā€™re on the ripping topic, anyone want the source code of [8edge.com](http://8edge.com)ā€™s intro? šŸ˜ƒ Makemedie. ---
