Spam away, dear Fester. 🙂 It bothers me not in the slightest. 🙂 Believe it or not, I’ve never seen Fatal Attraction myself. But the bunny boiling bit is very well known, so I know what the slang thing refers to. This girl was completely insane though… She forbid him from going out unless it was with her. She didn’t like his friends, so he wasn’t allowed out with us anymore, and she really loathed me, even though she’d never so much as seen me let alone met me. He was banned from going to the football because I went, and banned from the pub for the same reason. Even though he left me for her, it was like she was scared he’d change his mind back. :sure: They got engaged after about a month, then she went and slept with an ex. Surprisingly he didn’t break up with her, but she did with him. Then they got back together. Then they split. Then they got together again. Then she slept with another ex, got pregnant and didn’t know whose it was. Had an abortion, split up, got back together, then finally split up again after a relatively minor argument. I mean, how screwed up is that? :stunned: ---

She was something else altogether from what I gather. But since I never met her I’m in no position to make an informed judgement. By the time all the _really_ screwed up stuff was happening, he and I were friends again (though he didn’t tell her that otherwise she’d have gone completely nuts). I’d get phone calls and texts asking what the hell he should do - he loved her and wanted to make her happy, but she kept on doing all this crazy stuff… ---
